VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a remote, 1099 contractor. This role offers a wonderful opportunity for professionals who are passionate about improving students' lives through effective therapy while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
In this remote SLP position, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students throughout Massachusetts. As an independent contractor, you will deliver customized therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote therapy sessions to students with a variety of speech and language challenges.
- Perform evaluations, screenings, and assessments to assess the speech and language needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that align with students’ specific goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Track and update therapy plans based on student progress and needs.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
- Stay informed on current research and developments in speech therapy to provide the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a Massachusetts teaching certificate.
- Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy, particularly in educational settings, is preferred.
- Technology: Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and digital tools. Must have reliable internet access and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Passion: A strong commitment to helping students develop their speech and language abilities.
