Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our remote team. This 1099 contract role offers flexibility to deliver speech therapy services to students across Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will evaluate communication disorders, design tailored treatment plans, and work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the students' growth and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address each student’s unique needs.
- Provide speech therapy services through telepractice platforms.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with state and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching Certificate.
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with teletherapy or a willingness to quickly adapt to virtual platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and necessary technology for teletherapy services.
- Passionate about supporting student success.
