VocoVision is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a remote, 1099 contract basis. As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, providing services to students across Massachusetts. In this role, you will be an independent contractor responsible for delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote therapy sessions to students with a range of speech and language disorders.
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes in students’ conditions in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Track and report student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
- Ensure confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in speech therapy to provide the highest quality care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a Massachusetts teaching certificate.
- Experience: Prior experience in providing speech therapy services, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
- Technology: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and online tools. Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Passion: A genuine desire to help students improve their speech and language abilities.
