Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote Teletherapy for 2025 School Year

VocoVision is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a remote teletherapy position in a Maryland school district for the 2025 school year. This flexible opportunity allows you to deliver speech therapy services from your home, ensuring students receive the support they need while you enjoy a better work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations, provide diagnoses, and deliver therapy to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with school teams to identify students requiring special education services and provide diagnostic recommendations.
- Develop IEP goals and therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Support teachers and families with strategies to improve speech and language development.
- Regularly track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure student success.
Skills:
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with virtual therapy tools, documentation software, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience with a diverse student population is preferred.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting.
- Experience in treating articulation, fluency, and language disorders is beneficial.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license required.
- Candidate must hold licensure in both their state of residence and the state of the school district.
