Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Michigan School District (24/25 School Year)

Job Description
As a Speech Language Pathologist at VocoVision, you will:
- Provide Virtual Services: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services via online platforms, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Create individualized education programs (IEPs) based on detailed assessments, tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.
- Conduct Engaging Therapy Sessions: Utilize virtual tools and resources to conduct effective and interactive therapy sessions, enhancing students’ communication skills.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support and address the communication and educational needs of students.
- Maintain Student Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, document each session, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to Professional Standards: Ensure all services comply with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulations.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Michigan SLP license (CCCs)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting
- Experience providing virtual therapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable computer & fast internet speed (no Chromebooks/tablets permitted)

Interview Process
- Screening Call: 10-15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter.
- Virtual Interview: 20-30 minute virtual interview with the School District.
- Offer: Typically made within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview.
