Kansas City: Speech-Language Pathologist
Kansas City, MO
We are seeking a qualified SLP to join our team in Kansas City, MO!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to assess students' needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting (either individually or in small groups)
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support students' communication development
- Document progress and make data-driven decisions to modify therapy plans as needed
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Missouri State SLP License (active or eligible for activation)
- Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders preferred (be specific about any populations your district serves if applicable)
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
