K-5 Speech-Language Pathologist (or Clinical Fellow)

Soliant has partnered with a client located around 30 miles from Pinehurst, NC to place a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2018-2019 school year.
Details of this assignment below:
- 2018-2019 school year
- Full-time (approx. 35 hours per week)
- Work with K-5 students
- Both SLP-CCC and Clinical fellow applicants welcome.
As a speech-language pathologist, day-to-day duties include:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development; diagnose students with speech/language impediments
- Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs and special education staff
- Provide speech-language therapy, document student progress, and complete paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
- Participate in IEP meetings, and communicating speech and language goals to student care-givers
Additional details relating to the caseload, and building assignments, will be discussed during an interview with the administrators.
