K-3rd Grade SLPA Job in School Setting
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position in Thomasville, NC. This role focuses on providing speech and language support to K-3rd grade students, helping them overcome communication challenges and succeed in their educational journey.
Job Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide direct therapy services to students in K-3rd grade, targeting articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.

Assist with progress monitoring and data collection to assess student development.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to ensure effective communication support.

Prepare instructional materials and maintain accurate student records.
Requirements (North Carolina):
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Valid North Carolina SLPA license (issued by the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists).

A minimum of one year of experience working as an SLPA in a school or clinical setting.
