Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team and provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in grades K-12. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students’ communication needs and fostering their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
