Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston, TX

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school-based setting in Houston, TX. The SLP will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language impairments in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of student performance.

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Texas SLP license is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a school setting preferred.
