Position Overview:
- Position: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Oklahoma (remote)
- Employment Type: 1099 Contract
- Schedule: Flexible, work-from-home setup with full-time and part-time options
- School Year: 2024-2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging virtual speech therapy to K-12 students, focusing on individualized care for those with communication disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, create treatment plans, and adjust based on progress.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and administrators to support students’ educational goals.
- Utilize teletherapy tools and resources provided by VocoVision to enhance therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, meeting Oklahoma’s standards.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Licensure: Valid Oklahoma state SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Oklahoma Teaching Certificate: Required to practice in Oklahoma schools.
- Experience: Minimum of two years working with school-age children or in pediatric settings is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Must pass a tech screening for Wi-Fi, download speeds, and Zoom capability.
