Position Overview:

• Location: Washington, DC
• Caseload: K-12 students
• Job Type: Full-time & Part-time positions available
• Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy services to students.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide therapy to address speech articulation, fluency, language development, and social communication skills.
• Track and document student progress and report updates to the supervising SLPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the effective delivery of therapy services.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, goals, and progress notes.

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Active SLPA certification in Washington, DC (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working with children or in school settings is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well within a team and be flexible with your approach to student care.
