We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in La Center, WA. This full-time position offers an immediate start and the chance to help students develop critical communication skills.
Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess and treat students with speech and language challenges. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to create and implement strategies that foster success in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students.
- Track student progress and provide regular updates to educators and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
- Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Washington state SLP license and ASHA certification.
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
