Position Overview:
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Job Type: Full-time & Part-time positions available
- Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs.
- Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students in individual and group therapy sessions.
- Help students develop skills in articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each student’s unique needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active SLPA certification in Washington (or eligibility to obtain certification).
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a positive learning environment.
