Position Summary:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. You’ll work closely with educators, families, and school staff to develop tailored plans that help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language needs in students.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings.
- Track and document student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to ensure consistent support for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate results, plans, and recommendations effectively.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
