We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Geneseo, NY. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
Position Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students to address speech, language, and communication challenges that impact their educational experience. This role involves providing assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy services in collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and recommend interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current SLP license in the state of New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though CFY candidates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
