ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time or part-time contract position in Johnston, RI. This position offers the opportunity to work with high school students with moderate to severe speech and language disorders. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a high school caseload (under 50 students) with moderate to severe disabilities
- Implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) for students based on assessment data and IEP goals
- Work with students on articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Use evidence-based interventions to address speech and language needs
- Monitor student progress using data-driven methods to adjust therapy as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Work onsite during school hours (7:15 am - 1:35 pm)
- Aspen IEP system used for documentation and reporting
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 16, 2025
- Schedule: Full Time or 3 days per week, 7:15 am - 1:35 pm
- Caseload: Under 50 high school students
- Interview: Zoom or in-person interviews available
Qualifications:
- Active SLP state licensure and CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working with high school students with moderate to severe speech and language needs
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs using ASPEN or other IEP systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
