Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join Seguin ISD on a full-time basis for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an onsite role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The SLP will work with students ranging from ages 3 to 22, addressing a variety of communication needs, including learning disabilities, orthopedic impairments, cognitive impairments, Down syndrome, and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals, and objectives
- Provide therapy services to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Prepare progress reports and attend ARD meetings to collaborate on student success
- Engage with a diverse caseload and adjust interventions to meet varied needs
Qualifications:
- Open to CFY/SLPA, but preference given to SLP CCC
- Relevant licensure for Texas
- Experience with a range of conditions, from learning disabilities to autism
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
