Job Opportunity : School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Blazer Jobs is seeking a School-Based Itinerant Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in Merced, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to work across multiple school sites, providing essential speech and language services.
Job Duties:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of an SLP.
- Travel between school locations to support students as needed.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- License/Certification: Must hold a California SLPA license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board of California.
- Experience: Minimum one year of SLPA experience in a school or clinical setting.
Pay Rate: $45-$48 per hour
