Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a full-time, school-based role. This position involves providing speech and language services to a diverse group of K-12 students, helping them achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Student Assessment: Administer evaluations to determine speech and language needs and develop personalized therapy goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy, including language development, articulation therapy, and communication support.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and special education staff to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records on student progress and therapy activities.
- Ongoing Education: Engage in professional development to stay informed of new strategies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure in Washington
- CCC certification is preferred
- Previous experience in school settings is a plus
