Hourly Rate: $47 - $52 (Based on virtual experience)
Student Caseload: 87 high school students (Grades 8-12)
Position Overview:
Join us as a remote Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services to students in Phenix City, AL. You’ll manage a caseload of 87 students, focusing on speech and language therapy for grades 8-12, including students with behavioral challenges. Our dedicated support team will ensure you have the tools and assistance needed for success.
Your Role:
- Speech & Language Therapy: Assess and treat students in grades 8-12 with speech and language needs.
- IEP Development: Create and track individualized education plans, documenting progress.
- Collaboration: Work with paraeducators and other school staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Consultation: Provide guidance to teachers and families, supporting both direct and indirect service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and necessary Alabama clearances
- Prior experience with virtual therapy settings is an advantage
- Expertise in supporting high school students with varying behavioral needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
