Location: Remote
Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible, school is grateful for any additional time you can provide)
Hourly Rate: $50-53
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Speech-Language Pathologist to provide remote services to elementary school students, with a focus on students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. This position involves evaluating and treating students with speech and language needs, many of whom utilize assistive devices to support their communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mostly compensatory services
- Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Conduct evaluations (2 evals in progress) for students needing speech assessments.
- Work with a caseload of 10 students receiving speech services.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support teams to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
Ideal Candidate:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota education certification for SLPs (required)
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, particularly in virtual settings
- Familiarity with assistive devices for speech and communication support
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible and responsive to the school's needs and schedule
