Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Speech Therapy: Provide virtual speech-language services to students across various age groups with diverse speech and language needs.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique speech and language goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the overall academic and social development of students.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track students' progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all therapy sessions and assessments, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current New York State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience working with children and students of various age groups.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to deliver services remotely.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a virtual environment.
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor, managing your own schedule and caseload.
- ASHA Certification (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) preferred but not required.
- Previous experience providing remote services or teletherapy is a plus.
