Position Overview: We are actively seeking a full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing virtual speech therapy and a passion for helping young learners develop essential communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each child’s unique needs.
- Provide engaging and interactive virtual therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's learning objectives.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification in Illinois.
- Proven experience with virtual therapy, particularly with preschool-aged children.
- Strong understanding of early childhood language development and effective intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with young learners.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.
