VocoVision is looking for an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a remote, 1099 contractor. In this remote SLP position, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students across Illinois. As an independent contractor, you will deliver tailored therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote therapy sessions to students with various speech and language challenges.
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student’s goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes, following state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Monitor student progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in speech-language pathology.
- Stay current on the latest research and trends in speech therapy to provide optimal care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must possess an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy, particularly in school settings, is preferred.
- Technology: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and digital tools. Must have reliable internet and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
