Position Overview:
We are looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote 1099 contract position. In this role, you will provide speech therapy services to children or adults through a secure online platform, making a significant impact on clients' lives from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech therapy services to K-12 students or adults, depending on the assignment
- Conduct detailed assessments and create individualized therapy plans
- Use evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other team members to track progress and ensure effective therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Uphold professionalism and deliver top-quality care in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois and a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience in clinical or educational settings with children or adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms or willing to receive training
- Reliable internet connection for conducting remote sessions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and progress reports
