Job Overview:
VocoVision is looking for a skilled and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our remote team. This 1099 contract position provides the flexibility to deliver speech therapy services to students throughout Illinois. The ideal candidate will assess communication disorders, create personalized therapy plans, and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language issues.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student’s specific needs.
- Provide speech therapy services via telepractice platforms.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support for students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with teletherapy or a willingness to adapt to virtual platforms.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Reliable internet connection and the necessary technology for teletherapy.
- Passion for supporting student success.
