Job Title: Home Based Speech-Language Pathologist (1099) Job in Kansas
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kansas to join our team in a virtual capacity. As a Virtual SLP, you will work independently as a contractor (1099) to provide exceptional speech and language services to students in a school setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students, focusing on speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Kansas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with teletherapy and virtual service delivery.
- Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for virtual sessions.
Contract Type: This position is a 1099 contract role, offering flexibility in work hours and location. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
