Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Immediate Hire | CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement treatment plans and assist in therapy sessions, working with students in individual and group settings.
- Document student progress and assist the supervising SLP with assessments.
- Prepare therapy materials and help teachers adapt classroom activities to meet communication needs.
- Collaborate with school staff to support students' speech and language development.
- Attend meetings to provide updates on therapy outcomes.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field.
- California SLPA license required.
- Experience working in schools or with children preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Job Details:
- Full-time W2 contracting position with benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
- Weekly pay every Friday.
