We are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Danvers, MA. In this school-based position, you will provide therapeutic services to students with speech and language challenges, helping them overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans (for SLPs).
- Implement speech therapy interventions as directed by the supervising SLP (for SLPAs).
- Provide direct therapy to students to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Attend meetings and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements:
- SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid MA SLP license.
- SLPA: Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field, and valid MA SLPA license.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
