Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Blue Island, IL. In this role, you will provide vital support to students' social, emotional, and academic well-being, working collaboratively with teachers, families, and other school professionals. Your efforts will make a lasting impact on the lives of students and their educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support services to students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and create individualized plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address barriers to student success.
- Assist in crisis intervention and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to student services.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Active Illinois School Social Worker license or Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
