Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time roles within school districts in the La Grange, IL area. We invite qualified applicants to join our dedicated team of professionals committed to enhancing the communication skills of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
