Are you passionate about supporting students in their communication journeys? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct support to students in various settings, including classrooms and therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring that goals are met effectively.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote communication development across the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
