Fully Remote Special Education Teacher for Colorado School Districts
(Full/Part time positions available)
Join our team as a Virtual Special Education Teacher and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide virtual instruction, support, and guidance to students in our special education program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Deliver engaging virtual lessons tailored to meet the needs of each student.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development.
- Use technology effectively to enhance learning experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- State certification/licensure in Special Education.
- Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using virtual platforms for teaching and collaboration.
- Experience with virtual teaching and remote learning platforms.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive instructional strategies.
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student abilities and learning styles.
- Compensation for both direct and indirect work hours.
