Fully Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Job with Rhode Island Schools
West Warwick, RI
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as an independent contractor for school districts across Rhode Island. This is a fantastic opportunity for SLPs who are looking to work with school-aged children and make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Various school districts across Rhode Island
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Hourly Rate: $45 - $55 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Start Date: ASAP (for the current school year)
- Caseload: Elementary through High School (specific caseload details provided based on district needs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students in assigned schools.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation for compliance with school district requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services and accommodations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Rhode Island state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
