Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Position
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
VocoVision is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will offer comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals experiencing communication disorders, speech impairments, and language delays. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, helping them develop effective communication skills and address their challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Deliver direct therapy services remotely via video conferencing platforms.
- Track progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed documentation of client outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay informed about industry developments, research, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP.
- Proficiency in using telepractice platforms and remote therapy technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
