Blazer Jobs is currently recruiting for a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position in Saint Paul, MN, for the current school year. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to work in a supportive, dynamic school district.
Position Details:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with individualized instruction and support to students.
- Aiding in the screening, identifying, and diagnosing communication disorders, including articulation, voice, language, and fluency.
- Providing treatment and intervention, including consultation and follow-up to children, from birth to twenty-one years of age, diagnosed with communication disorders.
- Determining specific, reasonable, and appropriate goals and objectives and measuring treatment outcomes through a program of periodic monitoring and data collection.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- An associate degree from a speech-language pathology assistant program accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges, or its equivalent as approved by the commissioner.
- A bachelor's degree in the discipline of communication sciences or disorders, with additional transcript credit in assistant-level service delivery practices and completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork experience as a speech-language pathology assistant student.
Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.
