Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Middle School – Sacramento, CA
ProCare Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support middle school students in Sacramento, California. This full-time position is a great opportunity for those passionate about guiding students through a critical period in their language development.
Job Details:
- Location: Sacramento, CA
- Grade Level: Middle School
- Hours: Full-Time, 32.5 hours per week
- Dates: 2024-2025 school year
Responsibilities:
- Assist middle school students with speech and language development under the supervision of an SLP.
- Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work with students to improve social communication, speech fluency, and articulation.
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy into the classroom.
Qualifications:
- SLPA license in California required.
- Prior experience with middle school students is a bonus, but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
