ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Gainesville, GA, for the 2025-2026 school year. This onsite position involves working with a K-12 student population and offers a 37.5-hour workweek.
Position Overview:
- Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
- Location: Gainesville, GA
- Caseload: K-12 Students
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Start Date: August 2025
- End Date: May 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in conducting assessments and screenings for speech and language disorders
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support students' communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Active Georgia license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
