Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Albany, OR Area
Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position in a school district near Albany, OR. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with students, supporting their speech and language development in a dynamic educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement and support individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their communication goals.
- Track and document student progress, assisting with assessment and adjustment of therapy goals as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure consistent support for each student.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to school district policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field.
- Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.
