Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position – Lakewood, CO
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Lakewood, CO for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position will focus on a PreK-5th grade caseload, providing vital speech and language services to young learners in a supportive educational environment.
Position Details:
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Lakewood, CO
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Caseload: PreK-5th grade
- Start Date: 2024-2025 school year
- Contract Duration: Full school year
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK-5 students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student goals.
- Provide direct therapy in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP license (required).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with PreK and elementary students (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
