BlazerJobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dedicated school team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with high school students and make a significant impact on their communication development. We are looking for an SLP with an active Arizona license and IVP fingerprint card to start ASAP.
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours/week.
- Caseload: High school students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Location: Phoenix, AZ.
Job Duties:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services to high school students.
- Assess students' speech and language needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students' academic success.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and evaluation of therapy goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Provide guidance to parents and staff on strategies to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Arizona.
- Fingerprinting: Active IVP (Identity Verified Prints) fingerprint card.
- Experience: Previous experience working in schools is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively with a team.
