Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a school-based setting in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and providing speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs. Whether you are an SLP or an SLPA, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of students by helping them overcome speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- For SLPs: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- For SLPAs: Assist licensed SLPs in providing therapy services under supervision.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Requirements for SLPs:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current SLP license in the state of New Mexico.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
Requirements for SLPAs:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Current SLPA license in New Mexico.
- Previous school or pediatric experience is preferred.
