Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Royalton, VT

ProCare Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Royalton, VT. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic caseload ranging from PreK to 12th grade (or PreK to 8th grade, depending on the building) and make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 13, 2025
- Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
- Caseload Size: Approximately 28 students
- Age Range: PreK through 12th grade (or PreK through 8th grade)
- Disabilities/Needs:
- A wide range of needs, from articulation challenges to students using communication devices
- Caseload specifics depend on the assigned school building
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with varying speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education and therapy plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Document and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the goals of the educational team
Requirements:
- Valid Vermont SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
