Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Hanford, CA
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school system in Hanford, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position that offers a structured schedule while working with a diverse K-12 caseload.
Position Details
- Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Hanford, CA (servicing schools within Kings County)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 6, 2025
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week, one-hour lunch)
- Caseload: Approximately 60 students, grades K-12
- Mix of general education and special education students
- Assignments may be specific to one or two schools or itinerant across multiple schools
- Flexibility to tailor caseload based on experience or specialty preferences
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain structured schedules across assigned schools for consistent service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Qualifications
- Active California SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome)
- School-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work in a structured multi-school environment
