Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Oak Harbor, WA | Immediate Start
We are actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Oak Harbor, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students from preschool to 6th grade. We are accepting candidates who can start immediately and continue through June 17 (pending any snow days).
Position Overview:
- Location: Oak Harbor, Washington
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- End Date: June 17 (subject to change based on snow days)
- Grade Levels: Caseload includes preschool or 5th/6th grade students, depending on your experience and area of interest.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
- Pay Rate: Starting at $44 per hour with potential for growth based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students in either preschool or 5th/6th grade, depending on your preference and expertise. Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, support staff, and parents, to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Flexible Support: Adapt your approach to meet the varying needs of your caseload, offering both direct and indirect services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington.
- Experience: Experience working with preschool and/or elementary-aged students is preferred. New graduates with relevant internship or practicum experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
