Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Dover, DE
Job Description: We are currently seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team in Dover, DE. This position involves providing exceptional speech therapy services to students in a dynamic school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, contributing to the overall educational experience of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech and language abilities and diagnose disorders.
- Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educational professionals, parents, and caregivers to facilitate effective communication strategies and environments for students.
- Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings, providing expert insight and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid Delaware state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
