Position Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Essex, Ohio. This full-time role involves providing speech and language therapy to K-12 students, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a vital role in supporting students' language development and ensuring they receive individualized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students in one-on-one and group settings.
- Assess students’ speech and language abilities and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and update therapy plans to meet IEP goals.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure optimal student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Speech Language Pathologist licensure required.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize student needs effectively.
