Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job

Blazer Jobs has partnered with a school district in the Wolcott, CT area to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This role is within a special education setting, providing an exciting opportunity to help students with diverse needs achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a special education setting.
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and district policies.
Requirements:
- State licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Connecticut (please specify required certifications).
- At least one year of experience in a school or special education setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for helping students with speech and language challenges succeed.
