Speech-Language Pathologist 

Location: Conroe, Texas

Job Type: Full-time Contract Position, 37.5 hours per week 

Assignment Dates: ASAP - May 23, 2025

We are currently working with a great school district near Conroe that is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year. 

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active Texas SLP licensure.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
  • Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
